Can any of you help a poor cataloger out and explain to me exactly what kind
of entity "Video Yesteryear" is? Is it a publisher or a series or what?
Most often, the name appears on a generic video slipcase and at the
beginning of the video, as in, "Video Images presents a Video Yesteryear
According to the authority files on OCLC, "Video Yesteryear" is a firm, as
is "Video Images," and "Video yesteryear recording" is a series-like phrase.
>From what I can tell, Video Images is not the only company that distributes
Video Yesteryear recordings; I see records with this phrase for items from
Reel Images and Kino. Clearly, many other catalogers are as confused as i
am, because I see it handled many different ways.
Can anyone shed light on this for me?
