Jessica,
As a programmer/analyst who has worked in a multimedia/video/library (both =
public and academic) for almost 10 years, and who is only one required =
course away from a MLS (at an ALA accredited intstitution): I can assure =
you that library schools are falling down on the job when it comes to =
nonprint materials. Most librarians have to learn the ropes on the job. =
Don't judge all of us by the actions of one who was looking for a cheap =
(and dishonest) way to cover his/her butt in the copyright department. The =
majority of librarians I know and work with are very concerned with =
copyright and fair use.
