Good Day All:

In an effort to further develop the local history holdings in the Special
Collections Department, I am trying to identify documentaries about
Washington, D.C. Recently, I came across the video entitled, "Fine Food, Fine
Pastries, Open 6 to 9" by David Petersen, about a diner on Capitol Hill in
D.C., but cannot locate a copy, or the distributor for that matter. Similarly,
I am searching for other titiles to add to our holdings to develop a more
clomplete resource on D.C. history.

I'm not a media librarian, and our library does not employ such a person, so
I'm kind of stepping out in a sense. But I think the addition of videos on
D.C. are a logical extention for primary research about the area.
I am new to the list, and am not familiar with most of the sources you are,
and so I really appreciate any assistance you can provide at this time.

Thank you in advance for your assistance. I look forward to hearing from you.
