Dear Rhonda,

until now this title is available only in France (VHS/SECAM or
DVD/PAL-Region 2, both versions only in french without any subtitles).
Try this mail order shop:
http://www.fnac.com/Shelf/article.asp?PRID=1149561&SID=4A7980AD%2DBEE4%2DB9C7%2D2EF4%2D7E0C4E4F4F31&UID=&AID=&Origin=FnacAff&Pe=1&No=1&Fr=0&Mn=2&Ra=-3&To=0

But there is a source to get an NTSC copy from the
Vincent-Perez-Archives. Vincent Perez played Diderot in this film,
"spending much of the film in the nude", as he states here.
(see October 8, 2001):
http://www.vincentperez.com/news.html

"Le Libertin is available in French without subtitles in PAL video and
DVD format for Region 2. It is not yet available in the US & Canada;
however, if you would like a video NTSC copy, please email me below."

With kind regards
