Dear Kathleen,
There are film artists out there who like to reuse and re-edit old
filmstrips to make new works of art (some of the best work I've seen
recently has been film-collage). I don't know if there are any film
co-ops around Ohio that would be interested in rescuing your
collection from the dustbin, but maybe a quick call to the Wexner
Center for the Arts ((614)292-0330) in Columbus may provide a lead or
two for possibly interested parties...
take care,
Chris
