Elaine,
There are other types of fiddlin' besides bluegrass - old time (Appalachia,
Missouri, Alabama, etc.), Cape Breton, Celtic, Cajun, Zydeco - and I'm sure
some others as well. Before you purchase how to videos, be sure you know
which style your patron wants. While each style uses the same instrument,
techniques differ considerably. The following web sites, unfortunately not
Canadian, offer programs and people who can point you in the direction you
need to go.
