Milos is mostly right -- it was available in Paris back in 1992 because I
bought a copy of it for a professor when I was there. (At a five and dime
store I was passing by in Aubervilliers -- even they're classier!) At the
same time, he is currently correct as I just checked the FNAC site and it's
astonishing -- almost NONE of Malle's films are available even in France. And
there was a company, Art House, in England who I believe acquired the rights,
but I'm not sure if they ever put it out -- they went bankrupt shortly
thereafter.
