Here's yet another issue in the open v. closed stacks problem, and I admit
found it a bit bizarre:
I'm told that when the Library here proposed open stacks for the videos,
the _faculty_ had a fit and threatened to check out "their" videos and keep
them so they'd be available when needed.
So, everything remained in closed stacks.
The only change proposed was open stacks. Students were still going to have
the same 24-hour checkout period that they already had.
