The series is called "Popular Song: Soundtrack of the Century." It is
running on 5 consecutive Monday beginning this week (10/1). I have not seen
any video announcement but stations like Bravo often sell the video
themselves during the program's airing, prior to general release, so you or
your faculty member might want to check out that option next Monday.

Info is available at http://www.bravotv.com/sections/performances.php

There is also a companion book available.

Subject: American popular music

I have a faculty member requesting that we purchase this series (title not
exact) that is currently airing on the Bravo channel on an unspecified
number of Monday nights. I am unfamiliar with this channel and would
appreciate helpful leads anyone can provide in locating a distributor
and/or contacting Bravo.
Thanks in advance,
