Dear Pat,

These have never legally been out on VHS or DVD -- though Critics Choice was
selling bootleg copies produced by Killiam a couple of years ago and copies
may still be found on Ebay, most likely. However, they look terrible. Fox did
release Sunrise on laserdisc and it's absolutely worthwhile to find a copy if
you can -- it's far superior to anything else except for a few 16mm prints
I've seen. It's worth keeping the laserdisc machines because there are still
a remarkable number of films that are only available in this format (the
Lubitsch collection, the Disney B&W cartoons, early Warner Brothers sound
films, etc.) and may not appear on DVD for quite a while if ever.

And everyone at Videolib should all write to Fox asking them to release these
films on DVD!
