We use a multiple approach. Our five branches request videos from the
main collection, which are sent to them for a week, and we have two
rotating groups dedicated to branch use. The Childrens Packages rotate
every two months and the Popular Videos Packages rotate every month.
The former is rather static, replacing titles only for condition. The
later has 3-5 videos replaced in one package every month, based on
usage. Most are recent releases, while a few are perennial favorites.
Additionally, all branches have small video collections, mostly
comprised of popular childrens titles.
<I'm interested in finding out how different library systems deal with
<distributing videos throughout their system. Our county system makes
<"packets" which rotate from branch to branch every other month.
