We've had ours for about a year, now. We don't use it to its capability
right now. Our biggest use for it is as a cleaner, but it works wonders for
this. This is automatically the first step when we have anyone complain
about a video due to sound or picture quality. After it is cleaned, then we
review the tape. I would say, about half the time, there is no problem.
Now, whether the problem originally is due to problems on the tape, or the
patron's equipment, I don't know. I know that some libraries offer the
machine's services to their patrons, charging a nominal fee for use and a
printout of the problems. Hope this helps.

Hello Everyone,

The library is looking into purchasing this cleaner. Is going to cost the
library a very sustantial amount of money. Does anyone owns one of this
kind of cleaners? Its efficient?
