We have a TapeChek unit that does everything but make coffee. We bought
it years ago and it has since paid for itself. Because our unit also
inspects the tape for damage and rates the condition of the tape, we
have suffered less damage to our hardware by removing videos from the
collection which have been rated by the tape check machine as damaged.
Yes, it was a pricey piece of equipment but it has been worth its weight
in gold. And no, I do not receive any commissions from the TapeChek
people!
