There's something called "SkipDoctor" that supposedly repairs scratches
and distortions in DVDs. I've used it for CDroms with no luck, but someone
at another library said it's worked for them with no problem, so...it
might be worth looking into. You can get it from Video Store Shopper
(800-325-6867).
