I am sure someone knows this better than me but their are multiple- formats
AND REGION CODES. There is both PAL and NTSC DVD. In addition many DVD's are
REGION CODED so that a Japanese NTSC disc would not play on an American NTSC
player if it was region coded. There are Multi-system players out there but
I don't know the details
