Suzanne - just 2 words - Subscribe to Video Librarian! (sorry, that's 4
words!) Besides a wide variety of nonfiction reviews, this wonderful
journal also does feature films, including foreign films. However, be
prepared to explain to your collegues why you are laughing yourself silly
when you are reading through some of these reviews! Video Librarian also has
an online site for extra reviews - www.videolibrarian.com. Besides Video
Librarian, Library Journal also includes some foreign films in it's reviews.
Booklist also reviews videos. Also, Facets Multimedia - www.facets.org - is
a great source for puchasing foreign films. If you get it, you could also
check the New York Times film critics reviews and best lists. Hope this
helps. I know other people on the list will give you wonderful suggestions.
This is a great list. I have learned so much from the people on it. It's
the only list I am on that both librarians and vendors contribute to.
