Film Inspection Machine

Hi, All:

Greetings from Colorado.

I hope it's okay to ask the following question in this forum. Any answers
or leads about where I can find the answer are appreciated!

Stepping back into the realm of OLD technology for a moment. We are
determining if we should/can replace our circa 1983 RTI Omega Film
Inspection and Film Cleaning Machine. We use our Omega to clean without
fluid and for finding bad sprocket holes and splices. The new machines
that RTI sells seem to be overkill for what we need. Does anyone know if
there is suitable replacement on the market, who the vendor is and what
cost of the machine is? Any advice is welcome.

BTW, we use the machine for maintaining an archival collection of feature
and experimental films that is owned by our film studies department.

Thanks.

Barbara
