Filmakers Library has two very interesting videos on learning problems.
One is "A Dyslexic Family Diary" which chronicles a mother's 18 year
struggle to get an education for her bright dyslexic son. It explores the
difficulties pesented by dyslexia - how it plays out in educational systems,
legal and health systems, work, family, mariage and daily life.
Another is "The Key to the World" which shows a new approach to dyslexia, as
a physical disorder of the brain. The film introduces us to a wide range of
dyslectic people, their families, teachers and therapists. It concentates on
inroads that auditory therapy is making.
I will fax you more detailed information. Hope this is helpful!
