Dear Videolibbers,
This is actually a books on compact disc question. If no one can answer =
it, but knows where I can appropriately direct the question, I'd =
appreciate the information.
O.K.

We've received a bunch of donations of books on compact disc from a =
library patron. The packages say Media Books Audio Publishing, but when =
you read the fine print, you find out that the recordings are "licensed =
to Media Books L.L.C., Englewood Cliffs, N.J." Most have different =
"publishers", like Nova Books, Time Warner, Brilliance, etc. All seem =
to be abridgements (at least the ones I'm looking at).

I can't seem to find anything out about Media Books--like, do they do =
replacement c.d.s? If so, at what price? Do they do unabridged =
recordings? In other words, does anyone know anything about this =
publisher?

Thanks in advance for any help,
