Used videos at new video prices

Here's an interesting article about video retailers receiving copies of new
movies from Warner Bros. that have been recorded on previously-viewed
videotape -- but still charge the full price of a new tape. Plus, there are
numerous instances of damaged tapes, such as crunched up tape at the
beginning of the spool. "But Nolan Anaya, owner of Captain Video in Amherst,
Mass., said he preferred to take care of the problem himself by simply
snipping off the crunched portion from two of the six tapes he received."

Hmmm... I wonder if he faces copyright violation for that.
