Qualities for a Media Manager

This is similar to some other requests we have had on here. Lane ESD is
developing a job description for a Media Manager. This position oversees a
Media Library for K-12 teachers, of 16mm, Video, CD-RoM, DVD, and Some realia.

What I am searching for is suggestions for statements which include
"knowledge about digital technology", video streaming, and other recent
developments. As we move toward alternative ways of media delivery it
would seem wise to get someone who has this knowledge.

So, if any of you have some suggestions or some job descriptions to share,
I would be greatly appreciative.
