You'll probably want to get hold of the book "Doug Pratt's DVD-video guide"
Pratt seems to have reviewed every DVD that was available a year ago. (Sure
it's already out-of-date, but it's inexpensive.)
Entertaining, quirky reviews. He does a good job talking about technical
aspects--i.e. reasons the DVD might be superior to the video.
