There was a Utah video store making a lot of money several years ago by
actually editing the tape itself and selling a "suitable version" of Titanic.
Fortunately, the studio sued and won despite protests of first sale, since
not only is it tampering with copyrighted material, it would also open up a
whole bunch of worms (the splicing of obscene material in Disney films, et
cetera).
