audiences and potentionally offensive content

Having just read the questions and comments on "family-friendly" videos, I
picked up the campus newspaper and what do I see: An article about viewers
being offended by a very explicit Spanish language film that was shown on
campus. It seems that the hosting organization's publicity neglected to
include so much as a "not appropriate for children" warning, nevermind
something along the lines of "this film contains nudity, etc, that viewers
may find offensive."
Sigh. Yet another example of why the phrase "common sense" is an oxymoron.
If they had included a warning, it would have been no big deal. Now it's
causing a stink that will probably cause difficulties when bringing other
films to campus.
