It has helped clean up a number of problem videos. I've also found that
occasionally we get a brand new video that plays oddly for no apparent reason.
Running it through the TapChek usually clears that up, too.
We went to the TapChek because we'd had too many videos come unspooled by
cheaper video cleaner/rewinders. It's odd that there's nothing in between a $40
model and the TapChek $2500, but we finally figured that it would pay for
itself in the long run, and we've been pleased with its performance so far.
