Dear list
One our producers has been in court for some time against a company often
known as
St. Petersburg film. He has ripped her off for hundreds of thousands of
dollars and has
a judgement against him. A recent article in a New York Russian paper
claimed he
was a major supplier of Russian films to schools and libraries. I am posting
her request
for further info on list. She has spend a lot of time and money to go after
this guy
( who also bootlegs hollywood films) and she would appreciate any
information on contacts any of you might have had. Please respond to her
directly

WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF A FEDERAL COURT CASE ABOUT PIRACY OF SOYUZMULTFILM
ANIMATION BY ST PETERSBURG PUBLISHING HOUSE AND ARE TRYING TO DETERMINE IF
SPPH SOLD ANY OF OUR ANIMATION TO LIBRARIES AND UNIVERSITIES.

WE DISTRIBUTE AN AUTHORIZED INTERNATIONAL EDITION OF THE SOYUZMULTFILM
LIBRARY in bottom loading UV coated professionally manufactured video
sleeves, numbered 1-58. WE ARE LOOKING For evidence of any wholesale or
retail sales by SPPH of Soyuzmultfilm animation.

We would appreciate any information. It could be that he legally bought
what he sold, but we can tell you immediately based on the description and
if you got a bootleg tape will replace it for free with thanks.
