First my apologies for my recently choppy e-mails but I am having some kind
of computer breakdown and hope to fix it today

I am trying to find out if anyone has ever bought any tapes from a company
called St. Petersburg Film or Publishing house or Krupny plan. They are big
time bootleggers of Russian films and one of our producers is literally in
Federal Court. Basically they just dupe of standard copyrighted mostly
Russian films. Most of the titles ( Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears, Dersu
Uzala) are widely available through all the legit sources. However the
Russian community in particular has been buying the bootlegs and the guy has
a big time website. Some of the titles are not legally available in the US.
So if anyone remembers buying anything from this company, please let me
know. The producers are spending a fortune to protect their rights and this
guy is one of the worst crooks I have ever seen in the video business

Thanks
