We purchased a video entitle, "Bridges" from Kaw Valley Films and
Videos back in 1996. The summary of the video is as follows:

"This production covers the history of bridges, the various uses of
bridges, and the four basic bridge designs--beam, arch, suspension, and
pontoon. It includes famous bridges and features actual footage of the
spectacular collapse of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge in 1940."

If this is sufficient then the address is: (ORDERING ADDRESS) P O Box
3541, Shawnee KA 66203 - Phone: 800 332-5060 or 913 631-3040
Fax: 913 631-4320

Hope this helps

Our library has a copy of the 1962 edition of the above title (16mm,
distributor: Ohio State University) An instructor is quite certain
that an
updated version is available ; possibly on NOVA but a visit to their
website does not indicate it as one of their shows that they make
on video for sale.

Does anyone have any information on this?

Thanks kindly for any feedback,
