We are preparing recommendations to submit to the Academic Planning =
SubCommittee on our campus. Up until now, the media library has not been =
included as a specified item in this committee's goals, and we are =
attempting to remedy that omission. I would like to compare staffing =
and funding (including sources - institutional and outside) of media =
libraries at colleges and universities of comparable size with our own =
as part of our recommendations. Our enrollment is approximately 20,000 =
with around 800 faculty (full time and adjunct). Our media collection =
includes approximately 13,000 titles, 70% of which are video format. I =
would appreciate any of you whose institutions are comparable to ours =
providing data that I can use to support our recommendations for =
improved staffing and funding. Please respond directly to me at the =
