I look at each catalog when I receive it to determine if it contains any
product I may want. Often it doesn't, so it's thrown out immediately. I
weed my princeton files of catalogs periodically (twice a year) and add in
the updated versions of the ones I like and use. I've decided that I can't
keep everything I receive - don't even want to - and need to make a decision
early on whether to chuck it or not. I do use Bowker when I need to find
something I have no catalog information on.
