Staff Development Committee Comment Form

The Library Staff Development Committee (SDC) welcomes and encourages staff to provide feedback regarding SDC activities. This form actually serves two purposes:

  1. For those of you who recently went on an SDC-sponsored tour and/or received funding for a conference, education, etc., we would really like to hear your thoughts. For example, if you went on a tour:
    • What was the tour?
    • Did it meet your expectations?
    • Would you go again if you could or recommend it to other staff members?
    • Is there any way the tour could have been better? Any suggestions for future tours?

    Also, if you got reimbursed for a conference, coursework, etc., please tell us about your experience(s). For example:

    • How was the application process? Did you get a fast response from the SDC once your application was reviewed?
    • Would you have been able to participate if SDC funds had not been available for reimbursement?
    • Will you apply for funding again in the near future for other activities?
    • Do you feel that what you did will assist you with career-advancement within the library? How?


  2. Any other comments/questions about the SDC are more than welcome.
    • Do you have a suggestion for a future SDC-sponsored tour? Please describe it to us.
    • Are you currently in process or planning on applying for SDC-funding reimbursement but have some questions/concerns? Please let us know so we can help.
