1) Announcements:
Rick Love will come next meeting to present Circulation Supervisor's
Meetings agenda.
2) Continuing discussion of Public Services Task Force document with the
purpose of identifying a short, medium, and long term projects for the
council. It was agreed on this session that the short term project that
the council will look at and recommend is:
Accessability and availability study
There were 5 medium range projects identified and some long term projects
identified which will be discussed next meeting.
3) Bernie Hurley presented a brief overview of the Digital Library
Advisory Committee and asked the members of the group to help with the
following:
a) Discussion and acceptance of report with revisions if necessary
b) Help mine report in order to identify projects and prioritize them
c) Work to identify Library Automation projects vs Digital Library
projects
d) From the two lists come up with recommendations of what the Systems
office can do and in what order.
