UCB Library Public Service Manual (PSM)
This Public Services Manual (PSM) is designed to serve as a source of
information and guidelines for public services in The Library. Since many Library
policies and services derive from our relationship to the UC System and to the
Berkeley campus, related systemwide policies and campuswide policies and services
are also included here. The manual embodies the Library's public service values
and culture; documents those practices and policies that establish a consistent
level of service to our clientele; and provides support to public service
personnel as they run public service desks and answer questions or make referrals
for patrons.
