This is a friendly reminder from LCIS to check your backups to make sure they are current.
Your backup files should be stored on a network drive (usually the J drive) denoted with "USERNAME on libbackup".

There will be an incremental backup that should be no more then a day old unless you are checking on a Monday. Anything longer then 7 days old should be reported to the LCIS help desk.
Full backups should be no more than two to three weeks old, unless you recently checked after winter break. Anything older than a month should be reported to the LCIS help desk.
If you are missing backup files, please let us know which one. Be sure to include all error messages as well.
Every day, before you leave work, always remember:
to lock your computer at night. Do not log out.
When reporting problems to the help desk, always include your IP address.
NOTE!
For those using iTUNES, please set your program to use
D:\iTunes. Do not install your MP3 files in My Documents as it will
take up space on the backup servers that should be used for data.
If you do not know how to do this, please contact the help desk.
Your backup drive should only contain two backup files. Do Not use
it for personal storage.
