What are the controversial issues of our time?

The Library's Free Speech Movement Education Programs Task Force will be sponsoring forums in the FSM Cafe to generate critical discussion about contemporary social and political issues. A formal call for proposals will be circulated shortly. In the meantime, please give us an idea of particular issues you think would make for lively discussion in these forums. For example:

  • How free should the Internet be? Is censorship of Internet content sometimes justified?

  • Where should the line be drawn between politics and religion?

  • Should corporations have to adhere to international standards of conduct when operating abroad?
