Erika Lindensmith will be chairing the committee next year. 6 members are
leaving - continuing members are Joan, Dave, Erika, Luisa, Vanessa Tait
and Frank Lester, and others as they are recruited.
Arranging 6 programs was a lot of work for committee members this year - we
discussed ways to reduce the load on committee members by having students
take on more of the work required to put on a successful program and doing
fewer programs.
We received far more proposals than we could put on and we expect student
interest in sponsoring programs to continue.
We discussed planning early for the Constitution Day program in September.
We discussed giving sponsoring student groups a stipend of $250 on top of
their expenses.
Meeting adjourned with a celebration that included past FSMEP committee
members.
