For material that is to go on reserve in Moffitt, the Moffitt reserve unit
should prep titles in the order below:
1. Moffitt
2. NRLF
3. Main
4. Subject Specialty Libraries
5. SRLF
[Material on course reserve in Moffitt are for course numbered 199 and below.]
Subject specialty libraries should prep material in this order:
1. Their own collections
2. NRLF
3. Other Subject Specialty Libraries
4. Gardner Stacks Collection
5. Moffitt
6. SRLF
The units in Doe, Graduate Services, Art History-Classics, South/Southeast Asia:
1. NRLF
2. Main
3. Subject Specialty Libraries -
· If a subject specialty library has a copy of a title needed by one of these three units and Moffitt has multiple copies of the same title, the subject library copy should be prepped. This avoids problems with universal holds that occur if only one Moffitt copy is prepped and res'ed on.
· If a subject specialty library and Moffitt each have only one copy of a title needed by these three units, they may prep the Moffitt copy.
· If a subject specialty library is unwilling to let one of the units within Doe put a title on reserve in that unit, and Moffitt has a copy, the unit in Doe may prep and put the Moffitt copy on reserve.
4. Moffitt
5. SRLF
