Logging On/Off to GLADIS AutoCirc
Logging On
Mostly all our circulation records are maintained on the GLADIS Automated Circulation System (AutoCirc).
The exceptions vary by unit and are charged out manually on charge cards.
To use GLADIS AutoCirc you must first "logon" to the system.
To logon on the PCs:
- First, turn on the PC and login to Windows.
- Click on the Gladis Maintenance icon.
- When prompted, type "gladis".
- When the login screen appears (usually after a few seconds), hit F1 and then type
the login initials and the password.
- Next, use the down arrow to move the cursor next to "Online catalog" and type "x".
- Finally, hit F1 and you will have entered GLADIS Circulation.
On the Wyse terminal:
- Turn on the terminal and type GC (for GLADIS Circulation) from the startup
screen.
- Type "logon" and press return.
- When prompted for a password, type your unit's login initials, then a space
followed by the password. Now press return.
Once the logon has been successfull, you can select the circulation function that you wish to
perform.
Although it is not necessary to logoff of Wyse terminals, it is imperative for service units
using PCs to logoff.
