Circulation Services Group Minutes (Correction to March 1996 Minutes)

I would like to clarify item #2 on our agenda of March 19th.

CIRCULATION OF UNBOUND PERIODICALS ON GLADIS.

A.  The procedure described is not an existing procedure for the
Periodical room.  It is a proposal for circulating unbound journals using
a procedure that follows all existing circulation procedures. 

B.  For Successive Entries where the barcodes may sometimes get added to
the incorrect record because of duplicate call nos., students would make a
printout at the point of discharge, when the message Duplicate Call No.
appears.  The error rate is expected to be below 5%.
