1. Library Website Mission and Guiding Principles --B.Hurley

The Web Advisory Group (WAG) was formed to advise the Library Web Services
Manager and assist in the development of policies, procedures, standards,
and guidelines for the Library's website. On January 9, Cabinet approved
WAG's recommendation for a user-centered design that will accommodate
customization and directed WAG to move forward with creation of guiding
principles. On March 13, Roundtable suggested minor revisions to the
Library Website Mission and Guiding Principles. The first document states
the mission of the Library website, goals and scope. The second document
outlines the guiding principles upon which the website should be built and
redesigned.

Cabinet approved the revised documents.

2. Themes in Context of the April Roundtable Meetings --K.Mitchell,
COrE facilitator

Cabinet continued the discussion from last week's extended meeting to
define the library's core functions with a focus on the themes/categories
for discussion at the extended Roundtable meetings planned for April.
April 10, Roundtable: Themes for Guiding the Library
April 24, Roundtable: Themes in Correlation to Library Functions and Services

Next week: Planning for the April Roundtable meetings. In preparation for
the April 3 Cabinet meeting, Katherine recommended a review of the
materials distributed on January 16.
