Billing grace periods
for long-term materials
- 7-day or longer:
- Overdue notice produced 4 days after due date
- Autoblocked 13 days after due date
- "Bill Warning" produced 15 days after due date
- Billed 30 days after due date
- Recalled materials:
- Several scenarios may occur depending on item's original due date and the date item was recalled.
- If item is recalled after an Overdue Notice was produced, the normal autoblock and billing sequence is followed.
- If item is recalled before an Overdue Notice is produced, an 8 day Recall Grace Period is given and the following sequence occurs:
- Autoblocked 2 days after Recall Grace Period
- "Bill Warning" produced 4 days after Recall Grace Period
- Billed 19 days after Recall Grace Period
- 2-hour and same day:
- Autoblocked the day after due date
- "YOU HAVE BEEN BILLED" notice produced 2 days after due date
- Billed 7 days after due date.
- Autoblocked 2nd day after due date
- "YOU HAVE BEEN BILLED" notice produced 3 days after due date
- Billed 8 days after due date.
