CARS Late Fees
CARS Late Fees are monthly finance charges assessed at a flat rate by the campus Loans & Receivables Office when bills become delinquent:
- $25 for the first 30 days delinquent
- $20 for each additional 30 days delinquent
CARS Late Fees are assessed on minimum balances of $50 or more.
The Library does not have the authority to cancel CARS Late Fees. However, if a patron has been assessed a Late Fee due to a Library error, we can e-mail Dorothy Padilla at dpadilla@uclink explaining the error
. LRO will cancel it if the Library error was the only reason for the Fee.
