An item billed for replacements is
fined

2-hour, 1-day, same day, and all recalled materials are fined bu fining units whenever these materials are billed for replacement.

When finable materials are billed on CARS,
a "Bill/Fine Memo" is produced and sent to fining
units only. These memos will not be produced
for 03 borrowers, who are not subject to fines.

Unit fines the item for $20 using the GLADIS
billing module. Fine information is added
to the patron's inventory.

In case of dispute, the fine can be cancelled
by using the DCF command from the
patron's inventory. Supervisor autocirc
logon is required.
