HOW TO GENERATE A CLAIM WHEN EXITING THE CHECK-IN RECORD

When exiting a record after performing check-in or maintenance, Innopac prompts for claiming if there are any late issues on the check-in card.

 



If you wish to claim, key <v> (verify each late claim). There will be a summary screen of attached order records.

Your screen will look like this:



Key the number of the appropriate order record.



Examine the order record carefully.

If there is no order record, Innopac will display the following prompt:

Print claims without Order #? (y/n)

Information about the late issue will be displayed.

Claim this issue? (y/n)
Key <y>.
You will be prompted to enter a note in order to:
NOTE: Information in the box-specific note does NOT print automatically on the claim form.

If you do not wish to claim, key <q>.
