and bring back to the committee.

timekeeping; division of Space Planning into two units; LHRD workload issues
3. Space Planning report
Currently there are 24 major projects, 24 furniture projects, and 12
projects from last year. Highlights include the staff lounge in Doe,
projects in Engineering circulation, Moffitt circulation, Music and
Environmental Design libraries. They will be working to integrate newly
approved
projects soon.
4. LHRD
Kay is working with a small allocation to LHRD which will be used for
training issues. She is
working on a list of items to begin training plans for. This money is
shared with the Cabinet Subcommittee on Organizational Development (Org
Dev). Org Dev is considering the use of a one-time consultant to conduct a
needs assessment. Some training may be developed around administrative
skills building. LHRD could also work with existing training programs on
campus, such as CalPact (which temporarily lost funding, but appears now to
be back in business).
