RAY JONES COLLECTION

A fervent Chinese anarchist in the United States, Ray Jones maintained close contact with other anarchists in China, including Ganfei Li (Ba Jin), a well-known writer in Shanghai (16 letters from 1929–1953), and Professor Chienbo Lu of National University of Sichuan. The materials in this collection show evidence of an international network of anarchists with Ray Jones as an important United States link. His collection consists of 1 box of Jones' handwritten manuscripts of his essays and poems and newspaper clippings of his articles, and correspondence with anarchists in China from the 1920s to the 1950s.
