ALTA Religion Database
Indexes scholarly journals, books, edited volumes worldwide, and book reviews related to religion and theology, representing a wide selection of Christian traditions (including Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant, Evangelical, and Pentecostal), Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Shinto, Taoism, Confucianism, and other religious traditions. Coverage includes 1949 - present.
Anthropological Plus database
The ANTH database contains citations to articles and essays in the fields of anthropology
and archaeology. In addition to archaeology and all fields of anthropology, subjects covered
include art history, ethnohistory, geography, genetics, folklore, geology, history, linguistics,
music, and religion. Coverage includes 1984 - present.
Avery Index to Architecture Periodicals
The Avery Index database contains article citations in architecture and related disciplines.
Subjects covered include archaeology, architecture, architectural design, city planning,
furtniture and decoration, interior design, historic preservation, history of architecture,
landscape architecture and urban design and planning. Recent citations contain brief abstracts.
Coverage spans the years 1930s to the present, with selective coverage dating back to the 1860s.
More than 1,000 journals in many languages are indexed.
Bibliography of Asian Studies
The Bibliography of Asian Studies (BAS) contains more than 519,000 records on all subjects
(especially humanities and social sciences) pertaining to East, Southeast, and South Asia
published worldwide from 1971 to the present.

Historical Abstracts
Historical Abstracts is a bibliographic database containing citations to articles on the
history of the world from 1450 to the present (excluding the United States and Canada,
which are covered in the bibliographic database America: History and Life). The database
comprises over half a million bibliographic entries and covers over 2,000 journals
published worldwide. All abstracts are written in English. In addition to including the
key historical journals from virtually every major country, Historical Abstracts includes
a targeted selection of hundreds of journals in the social sciences and humanities.
Historical Abstracts includes approximately 3,000 citations to historical book reviews
and citations to abstracts of dissertations worldwide.
Index Islamicus
Indexes literature on Islam, the Middle East and the Muslim world. Over 3,000 journals

MLA Modern Language Association Bibliography
MLA [Modern Language Association International Bibliography of Modern Languages and
Literatures] includes international coverage of materials in the areas of literature,
languages, linguistics, drama, and folklore. The database contains over 1 million citations
from over 4,000 journals, series, books, essay collections, working papers, proceedings,
dissertations, and bibliographies. Coverage includes materials published from 1963 - present.
Philosopher's Index
The Philosopher's Index provides indexing and abstracts from books and journals of philosophy
and related fields. It covers the areas of ethics, aesthetics, social philosophy, political
philosophy, epistemology, and metaphysic logic as well as material on the philosophy of law,
religion, science, history, education, and language. Coverage includes 1940 to the present.
RILM
The RILM database, produced by Repertoire International de Literature Musicale, indexes all
types of materials in the field of music. Items are included in the database from other fields
as they relate to music, such as literature, dramatic arts, visual arts, anthropology etc.
RILM has international coverage, with records in over 200 languages. The database includes
all types of scholarly works: articles, books, bibliographies, catalogues, dissertations,
Festschriften, films and videos, iconographies, critical commentaries, ethnographic recordings,
conference proceedings, reviews, etc. RILM includes over 200,000 records from 1969 to the
present, and is updated monthly.
Routledge Encyclopedia of Philosophy
Covers the boradest range of topics in the philosophical canon, as well as philosophy
from all continents and all periods.
