Social Movements in South Asia: Library of Congress Subject Headings

Materials held by the UC Library are cataloged using standard Library of Congress subject headings. Samples of these headings are listed below. For a more extensive list, you can either look in the LC Subject Headings volumes located at many library reference desks, or you can experiment by searching for your subject in the online catalogs by title words, then looking at subject headings for materials you find and using these headings to locate additional materials.
