Tour of the Asian Art Museum

The Staff Development Committee is pleased to announce that it is sponsoring a field trip to the Asian Art Museum.  The Asian Art Museum is "one of the most comprehensive collections of Asian art in the world" and also houses "one of the more comprehensive research libraries on Asian art and culture in the country".  The Asian Art Museum is graciously allowing us to tour the museum and its library.  After the tour and visit to the library, we will be free to explore all of the museum's exhibits!  The museum's current special exhibition is The Rama Epic: Hero, Heroine, Ally, Foe.  You can read about it at www.asianart.org

Attendees must provide their own transportation and must have their supervisor's permission to go on the trip.  Please forward your supervisor's permission with your intent to go on the trip to Esther Gold, egold@library.berkeley.edu by the end of Tuesday, November 29th.  Additionally, all inquiries regarding the event should be directed to Esther.

The Staff Development Committee is excited about this opportunity and we invite you to join us at the one of the Bay Area's great institutions, The Asian Art Museum.
