To charge out materials, a valid UC Berkeley student photo ID or current library borrower's card is required. Cards are not transferable.

Books are loaned for one month (subject to recall). If the book you want is checked out, ask at the Circulation Desk to have it recalled.

Class reserves have two hour, one day or seven day loan periods.

Journals:

Journal titles with call numbers circulate for two hours. Journals are non-renewable. For unbound issues, fill out a charge card at the circulation desk.
Unclassed journal titles are library use only, and do not circulate.

Laptops are library use only and circulate for two hours.

Wireless cards circulate for one day.

Reference material, permanent reserves and selected other materials are library use only.

Renewals

Note: Wireless cards, laptops, journals, reserves, and microfiche are non-renewable. Microfiche reader/printers are available at several campus libraries.
